My favorite thing to cook on the bbq is spatchcock chicken. So far Sobey’s is the only butcher who cuts out backbone.

We bbq everything, but love rotisier chicken with all the grilled veggie sides (especially straight from the garden)we smoked a pork roast once sooo yummy

While I find the watching video or TV while eating downright unhealthy, I’m not sure how I feel about making it a social time. Many parents I know (of younger primary children) complain that their children don’t have time to eat their lunch because they are distracted by their friends and then they come home starving. I think I might rather they spend the time quietly eating and socialize outside at recess, which usually follows the lunch period (or nutrition break, whatever they call it).

Mealtime at home with family and friends at a table is a very different thing.
